Hundreds of eons ago, in the years where machinery was unknown and undiscovered to the planets and all inhabitants, in the time of ancient powers and chivalry men, existed an order. This order, composed of unique individuals, was tasked with the most sacred and honorable challenge known to their time.
The Order was in charge of keeping the extraordinary power of the mystic force under control and protected it from any who sought to abuse it’s overwhelming powers.
This mystic force is called the Force. It is an unseen force that intertwines everything in life, composes everything and everyone. Every individual is born equipped with the Force. The amount an individual has and their true potential strength is solely up to that individual.
The Order employed the warriors with the most Force powers out of everyone. They were noble and just people. But for whenever there is good in the world, there will always be evil.
A group of extreme activists made themselves public by using their force powers to decimate a large well-known city. They dubbed themselves “The Sith” and demanded the Order disbanded immediately. They continued to ransack cities and towns, killing hundreds, making themselves impossible to be ignored.
The Order took council and decided that they must intervene. Knowing they would need assistance, they recruited young individuals with fighting experience and together as one they fought. Many lives were lost, but in the end, the Order prevailed, extinguishing The Sith and bringing peace once more to the world.
As the years went by and technology in the universe grew more and more vast in popularity and advanced, the ancestors of the order members became less educated about the ancient times. As each generation past, less and less was learned until there was nothing to learn. The order soon became forgotten as technology grew to a dominant factor in life. Nowadays in this futuristic age, ancient powers are fairy tales. Society’s lack of knowledge is laughable and embarrassing. However, the Force still exists, weaving it’s way through life.
Atop a secluded mountain range in the middle of nature on the planet New Ceres resides a temple owned by Master Darkknight, an ancestor of one of the warrior members of the order. Distant to the extreme from machinery and the technological settings, this temple serves as a teaching ground to three students, all descendents from warriors of the order.
It is in this sacred education temple that our story begins.
Master Darkknight, the last living Master of the original Order council, lay comfortably and peacefully on his deathbed. His students knelt in front. This was the first time they had been permitted entrance in their Master’s quarters.
Darkknight let out a deep breath and closed his eyes. He knew this day was bound to come, aging was man’s ultimate foe. He had no regrets, it was dishonorable to die with them. His goal had been complete, he had trained the three the prophecy had foretold. He had prepared them as best he could. The rest was purely on their shoulders.
He had the utmost respect and confidence for his students. They were all strong in the mind body and soul. He remembered happening across each one, how eager each one was to learn and grow. He remembered the frustration, the accomplishment and the pride that had been earned over the years. His adventure was about to come to a close, and he was more then satisfied.
He opened his eyes and turned his head to his pupils.
The one to the left, in his martial arts uniform, sleeves torn at the shoulder showing the entire of his muscular arms, bright yellow headband wrapping around his head, covering his forehead completely, with his wild brown hair was Tchdwn. His eyes, glistening blue, hosted a fire only gladiator type fighters were acquainted with. He was determined and aggressive, but was able to keep his temper in check. His skills in swordplay were beyond compare, and Darkknight had no doubt one day those skills would make his apprentice a famous sword master.
The one to the right, with the standard recommended martial arts uniform completed with a standard brown cloak with short curly brown hair was Ender. His hazel green eyes had read every learnable textbook multiple times. He was obedient, very cooperative and listening to every rule and order, following them exact. He was wise beyond his years and a very adept Force user. He had a pure heart with great intentions, very calm and gentle.
The one in the middle, with black robes and a brown cloak with slicked black hair, was Nader. His thin brown eyes He had an immense curiosity for more knowledge. He was extremely ambitious and had the makings of a good strong leader.
Darkknight rose, sitting upright to face his students, to speak to them eye to eye.
“My Padawans. I have taught you everything I know.
Ender. Your wisdom is remarkable, as is your ability to analyze everything to the exact detail. You are a remarkable intellect and I have no doubts that your destined to become a remarkable tactician and advisor. Your fighting skills, though lack compared to your brothers, are still favorable in a duel. Remember to identify your weaknesses and improve on them.”
“Yes Master. I shall not disappoint.”
“Tchdwn. Your fighting skills are superior to any, your warrior physique and strength are unmatched. Mixing what you’ve been taught with your own style of footwork and aerobics, you are unmatched in dueling. But you must be careful to never get ahead of yourself. Arrogance is not a favorable trait in a being. Do not let yourself become blind by your strength.”
“Yes Master.”
“Nader. You may not be as extraordinary in smarts or strength as your brothers, but your potential to become a grand leader, a legacy is great. You are destined to become a leader. Your curiosity of greater knowledge must be kept in check however, never stray from the light.”
“Yes Master.”
“My sons. You are everything a master could hope for. Together, the three of you will become legends.
However, I fear that peace will not remain. Out there, in hiding, is an evil. I can sense it in the Force. The Sith. They are an evil that cannot be negotiated. You must stop them soon, before they become too powerful. If you do not, they could spell the end of peace throughout the galaxy.
“How are we to find them Master?”
“Use the Force, trust it to guide you. There are others, ones strong in the Force. On our side. They will find you. They will help you. Together, you can win. Together, you will win.
I have gifts for you, to pass down to you.
Ender. I give you my green light saber. Tchdwn. I give you my blue light saber. Treasure them, they are your key to survival, your most reliable companion. Never mistreat them.
Nader. As for you, I leave two keys to understanding who you are, who you will become, and who you will face. Two Holocron’s, one containing the history of the Jedi Order. The other containing the history of the Sith Order, but you must not peer into the Sith unless it is vitally necessary. Damper too long and the darkness will begin to spread in you. You mustn’t allow that to happen.”
“Yes Master” chorused all three students.
I will always be apart of the Force, watching over you, my sons. Never stray from the light.”
And with those last words, Master Darkknight left the mortal world and became one with the Force.
Tchdwn was the first to stand. He bowed to his deceased master and turned to leave.
“Where are you going?” spoke Ender, still kneeled, praying, a single tear rolling down his cheek. Nader stood and faced Tchdwn.
“To find the ones who will help.”
“And just where is that? He said they would find us. We should wait until they come.” said Nader, removing his hood.
Tchdwn stared at Nader and scoffed.
“How long will that take? I don’t think we have time to waste here. We need to get out there, into the world.”
“Are you doubting our Master?”
“I’m doubting you.”
“Both of you stop! If you must bicker, do it outside of the Master’s chamber.” snapped Ender, standing up and quickly walking out. Tchdwn sighed and followed Ender, leaving Nader alone.
Nader stared back at the bed where Darkknight had moments ago been laying in. The legacy he was, everything he had become, gone in the blink of an eye. Nothing but memories. Pathetic. Nader would not allow that to happen to himself. He would find a way to live. Forever.
He gripped the two holocron’s. He raised the Jedi holocron into the sunlight. All the history of their ancestor’s. Everything about them, their legacies. Reduced down to this. Pathetic.
Nader squeezed the holocron into fragments and let them drop to the floor. He had no need for studying those weak enough to be forgotten.
He raised the Sith holocron and studied it intently. They were still alive. They knew how to survive.
He activated the holocron.
The green energy lit up all the darkness. It hummed with reassurance, a sense of pride and respect. It moved swiftly, light but powerful. It trusted Ender. Ender would trust it back.
He deactivated the weapon and attached it to his belt. He stretched his arms out wide and let in a breath of mountain air fill his lungs, cleansing them. He gazed upon the fresh nature, pure and green. Birds chirped, deer grazed. Mountain life was easy and lax, lovely and peaceful.
Tchdwn and Nader never cared much for the outdoors. Tchdwn was too busy working out, Nader too busy researching. Their dismal interaction with nature itself ostracized them from Ender himself. They were always too quick, always using the Force, never taking things slowly. Having to work with them would not be an easy feat to accomplish.
Ender looked out onto the horizon, across the sea of forests, using the Force to lengthen his vision. Distant to this magnificent land lived everything else. Civilization. Technology.
Everything foreign to Ender was beyond that horizon. Tchdwn and Nader had been born into it. Ender had been born separate, up here, secluded and sheltered. Unfamiliar with the terrain, he knew that in this journey, his path would lead him into this unknown.
The mere thought of this made his heart skip a beat, a tremor of nervousness creeping up his body. He shivered, shaking the feeling away. He blinked and his view on the cities vanished, back to a normal human’s eyesight.
Change was inevitable. Ender turned and walked back to the temple.
Tchdwn stood on the roof of the temple, staring at his newly acquired light saber. He finally had his own, and it felt good. It felt right.
His instincts told him he was destined for great things. This blade would help achieve that greatness. He would become a legacy, a warrior looked up to by many.
He looked up at the sky. Plain and bare, untouched by devastation. Looking down on the inhabitants, safe and secure. Everything Tchdwn had yet to experience.
He wondered, when would he find a place in his life that would be boring. He longed for that place. A place where he could be allowed to be bored, with nothing to do and all the time in the world to do it.
He looked down to the earth where he saw Ender walking up the staircase, one step at a time.
Tchdwn rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. Ender was by the book, practice every day, wake up on time go to sleep on time, follow the rules. Absolutely no fun. He was foreign to the outside world, and Tchdwn wasn’t looking forward to babysitting him.
Tchdwn sat down and ran his fingers through his hair, and that’s when the ship came plummeting from the sky. Tchdwn’s gaze shot up the moment he heard the machine. Ender, in the middle of the staircase jumped up to Tchdwn’s left flank. Nader appeared magically on the right side. The three stared at the ship.
The ship was not that extravagant, in fact it was pretty run down. It was small, a transport vehicle of sorts. It was basically just a large egg shaped craft, solid black with the paint peeling off. The thruster engines shifted from the back down to the belly, decelerating the ship into a smooth safe landing. The top lifted up, reaching towards the sky. Four cloaked figures jumped out and landed in front of the ship.
“Enemy?” asked Ender, using the Force to communicate telepathically with Nader and Tchdwn.
“Doubtful. Actions don’t have a hostile feel.” said Tchdwn.
“Actions can be imitated to trick fools. You know this.” objected Nader.
“Don’t remember asking for your opinion.” snapped Tchdwn and jumped down to meet the guests. Ender looked at Nader, shrugged and followed. Nader rolled his eyes and scoffed at Tchdwn’s insolence and remained perched atop.
Ender and Tchdwn stood high and proud facing their visitors, all four faces masked in shadows by the hoods.
“Is this the residence of Grand Master Darkknight?” spoke second to the left.
“Whose asking?”
“We are” said second from the right, amusement in his voice.
“And just who might you be?”
“Allies” said the first on the left, and took off his cloak. His appearance put Ender in mind of an elegant piece of art. He had almond-shaped purple eyes and fine, straight, moss green hair that ran down to his chin line. He was rather tall and had a masculine build. His skin was china-white. He had a small mouth and a weak chin.
“Master Darkknight had contacted us.” said the first to the right, shedding his cloak off and letting it fall to the ground. This man made Tchdwn think of a perfect arrow. He had narrow blue eyes that were like two chunks of lapis lazuli. His thick, straight, purple hair was neck-length. He had a masculine build, skin light-colored, a low forehead and stubby-fingered hands.
“We were told that the time had come for us to begin our Order” said the second from the left, removing his cloak and slinging it over his shoulder. This willful man has large blue eyes that are like two lagoons. His luxurious, straight, brown hair was medium-length and was worn in a practical style. He has a broad-shouldered build and his skin was ruddy.
“Oh and if you would tell the guy on the roof whose thinking about attacking us because he doesn’t trust us to stop being an idiot, we’d greatly appreciate it.” said the fourth, second from the right, following the same actions his comrades had made. This guy had deep-set sand-colored eyes. His silky, wavy, jet black hair was worn in a style that resembled a bale of hay. He was rather tall, tanned skin and had a boyish build.
Nader scolded and jumped down.
“Are you our help Master Darkknight spoke to us about?” inquired Ender, both curious and cautious.
“Indeed we are. If you’d like to go indoors, we can tell you everything we were instructed to do.”
“Of course, follow us.” Ender invited and led the visitors inside the temple. Nader and Tchdwn gazed at each other.
“I have a feeling that we‘re about to get in over our heads.” said Nader.
“You know, for once, I agree with you” responded Tchdwn and the two trended up the staircase.
They were most certainly wise and well in tune with the Force. Tchdwn Nader and Ender listened to them as they explained the situation as a whole, everything they knew about the Sith, everything they knew about the Jedi.
Ender noticed right away that they sat in the same order as they had stood outside in front of their ship. An oddity that perplexed the young Padawan.
From left to right they were Pi777, Wrath, Nero and Corran. They all seemed competent enough, and if Master Darkknight had trusted them, Ender would trust them as well.
“I’m not following you-what are you proposing we do about this Sith?” inquired Tchdwn, completely perplexed.
“We engage them. Not immediately, over time.” spoke Wrath.
“We re-establish The Jedi. They were the only ones who were able to fight the Sith and win. We build, we recruit others who are strongly connected to the Force. We create an order. Run by a council. Grow as one, combat the Sith.” explained Corran. Tchdwn whistled.
“Well gee, when you put it that way, sounds like a piece of cake.” he said sarcastically. Nader glared at him.
“And I suppose your plan is better?” he commented, receiving a rude hand gesture from Tchdwn. Ender cleared his throat.
“So what do we need as far as supplies? A facility, supplies, weapons.”
“Well we can use this temple as our base. It’s certainly large enough. As for other essentials, you can leave that to myself.” answered Pi777.
“Then what are we supposed to do?” inquired Nader, scratching the back of his head.
“Recruit. Your Force powers are still at a premature age, therefore you cannot sense distant individuals with a strong flow of Force coursing through them. Therefore, you will each be paired, and sent to locate these individuals, recruit them with whatever means necessary.”
“Check your tongue next time you speak. My connection to the Force is up to par with tracking others, I can assure you of that.” boasted Nader. Tchdwn rolled his eyes, and Ender simply sighed, nodding his head in agreement. Nero turned to Pi777, shrugging.
“I suppose I can stay as well and aid you.” he suggested. Pi777 nodded slowly.
“Then it’s decided.” spoke Nader, rather arrogantly, earning him a glare from Tchdwn.
“As for you two. Corran shall accompany Ender, and Wrath will go with Tchdwn.” issued Pi777, Tchdwn and Ender nodding to notify their clarification on the matter. Nader was already standing.
“Well no point in wasting any more time. I shall be back with the most powerful candidates I can find. Wish me luck.” bid Nader and before anyone could respond he was gone.
“jerk.” muttered Tchdwn. Ender sighed again, wishing they could just work together in a more pleasant fashion. Corran turned to Ender.
“You and me shall go to Ryyuiothor, I sense half a half a dozen individuals all located relatively close to each other.” he explained.
“As for us, we’re going to Liutharium.”
Tchdwn and Ender nodded and rose.
“Let us just grab our travel necessities and we can depart.” said Ender, excusing himself and Tchdwn.
The two comrades exited the guest chamber and walked down the empty hallways, heading to their rooms.
“So what do you think?” inquired Ender.
“Sounds legit enough, if Master Darkknight put his trust in them, we should as well. Plus who knows, could be fun.” answered Tchdwn, giving Ender a wink at the end of his sentence. Ender sighed.
“I’m nervous more then anything. I’ve been secluded up here in the forest terrain my whole life. I’m unaccustomed to how anything works out there.” he confessed, his voice sprinkled with a hint of hesitation. Tchdwn patted and grabbed Ender’s shoulder affectionately.
“You’ll be fine buddy, just stick to Corran, he’ll help you through it. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to everything quickly. It’s not all scary out there.” reassured Tchdwn with a smile.
“Thanks friend.”
They arrived at their dorms and proceeded into their individual rooms.
“Do you think they have what it takes?” questioned Nero, pacing back and forth. He had his doubts about these Padawans. True be it that they were taught by one of the best, but they were still inexperienced, jumpy, ignorant. Add all those up and you definitely got trouble to keep a fearful eye upon.
“I’m sure of it.” said Corran, sitting on the back of the coach. He grabbed his dog tags and fiddled with them. Pi777 saw and raised his eyebrow.
“I know what that means. Your nervous.” he accused. Corran sighed, lazily throwing up his arms halfway.
“Ya caught me. Can you blame me though? We have no knowledge of these kid’s limits. They act like everything will be fine, but I wonder. Do they really fully comprehend what exactly they are signing up for? I just don’t know.” acknowledged Corran, running his fingers through his hair, then shaking his head to fix the ruffles his fingers have left behind.
“You are all forgetting. Darkknight put all his trust in these three. He was the wisest of the first council, the best judgment. If he believes in them, we all should.” objected Wrath.
“True, but I just don’t know. The Tchdwn kid.” began Nero
“Cocky of his own strength. Looking at this as a fun game.” finished Corran.
Tchdwn looked around his room. It was rather messy, clothes scattered across the floor. Books half open laid everywhere, only a select few still residing on his bookshelf. His bed sheets were crumpled and bunched up, half off his bed.
He looked out his window panel. The sun was high and bright, blue sky accompanied with a bare minimum of white puffy clouds. The slightest breeze whistled, gently brushing through the leaves of the trees.
Nothing in the future would ever be as simple as waking up, training, studying, more training, leisure break, more training, dinner, more training, then sleep. This was growing up, bypassing student and becoming a graduate, fulfilling his destiny. The journey would not be easy or very entertaining, much to Tchdwn’s dismay. He greatly disliked anything that failed to entertain him. Which was why he lacked the amount of intelligence taught by books Ender and Nader had. Books were not enjoyable, they were a nuisance. Training was worthwhile. Adventures. Fighting. Being a hero. Those were the things Tchdwn wanted to do with his life.
Which was why he was on board with this proposed plan. It included all three of those things, and that was enough to get him on board.
Tchdwn laughed. He knew that he was going to regret it, but he didn’t really care. He couldn’t think of any other career to pursue in. He had come to Master Darkknight when he was a child, six, an orphan on the streets. Parents killed by crossfire when they unintentionally found themselves in the middle of a gang war. Tchdwn had learned how to survive in the toughest of situations. How to not quit, not die. He refused to quit. He refused to die.
Then Master Darkknight had unintentionally walked into his life, when he was almost a victim of Tchdwn’s thievery. He had caught Tchdwn with ease, disciplined him as though he was Tchdwn’s father. That was not something Tchdwn had liked, and attacked him, but was overwhelmingly easily beaten. And then, as Tchdwn lay on his back, staring up at the sky, Master Darkknight had pressed two fingers against Tchdwn’s forehead. What followed was Tchdwn’s recruitment into becoming a Padawan. His life had been forever changed.
Tchdwn nodded to himself. He would not disappoint the one who gave his life a purpose.
“True, but through experience and teachings, those qualities will most certainly disappear. I have no doubts he will become an excellent warrior of justice.” said Pi777.
“Ender. I hear he’s never left the mountain lifestyle.”
“Completely foreign to the way everything works. Ignorant, can be a burden.”
Ender sat in the middle of his neatly made bed, cross legged, floating a few inches above the mattress, eyes closed. His floor was bare of messiness. All his books, read several times each, were stacked neatly, many with bookmarks.
He was at one with the Force, tranquil. This method often helped him calm down when he became anxious, nervous, fearful, emotional. He could not afford to be emotional in front of others, revealing weaknesses. Unacceptable.
This new path his life had suddenly jumped over to was remarkable. He never imagined being in the position he was in now.
When he was born to his parents, living secluded in the mountains, he was raised surrounded by safety. When he turned seven, his parents had sent him to Master Darkknight’s temple. He was tremendously scared, but determined to learn as much knowledge as he could fit in his eager brain.
He was met with toughness, a completely different lifestyle of difficult tasks, and two other children along with him. He had been shy, secluded and reserved with them, scared they would pick on him, hurt him. They responded with kindness, and over time they gained Ender’s trust. Master Darkknight went from being a mean terrifying man to a kind caring all knowing master.
On his eleventh birthday, he received a letter. His parents had been killed by bandits. Furious and full of sadness, he disembarked back home, ignoring the others objections.
He had run all the way home, crying for the majority of the trip. When he reached his houses destination, he found nothing more then a large pile of ash and black crisp. His parents’ bodies had been taken, his home burnt to the ground. Everything he had grown up with, gone.
He was furious with those responsible, vowing to hunt them down and kill them, but just then Master Darkknight appeared from the forest. He told Ender he felt great sympathy and sorrow for Ender. He cared for him. Which was why he told Ender to never walk down the path of vengeance, for it will only lead to misery and darkness.
He had allowed Ender to stay as long as he want, watching over Ender like a hawk, protecting him from anything that could potentially appear. Ender had remained for hours, crying, remembering his parents, until he fell asleep.
When he had awoke, he was in bed, surrounded by his friends, worried for him. His brothers. And behind his brothers, stood his father.
Ender opened his eyes and gently landed, standing onto his feet. He would do whatever it took. He would not disappoint his brothers. He would make his parents proud of him. All three of them.
“Again, with experience, that can be vanquished. Besides, he is remarkably intelligent, dedicated, kind hearted. His destiny is full of greatness, full of praise from many.” assured Pi777.
“Ok so you’ve convinced me on those two.” said Nero, Corran nodding in agreement. “But what about the third, Nader? He has hints of darkness surrounding him.”
“With enough push, he could fall to the dark side of the Force.” said Corran, expressing concern.
Nader stood at the edge of the cliff, gazing down at the tremendous city, bustling with life. Pitiful and worthless lives, heading for nothing but average bore.
Nader smiled to himself. He had been handed a great opportunity. He would become the leader of this Jedi Order, his brethren, Ender and Tchdwn, serving him loyally. That was his destiny. They would all be happy, a life of fun and happiness. That was what he would give his brothers.
When he was eight, he was sent to Master Darkknight by his parents, remarking on his remarkable intellect and Force control. He knew from the time where he was old enough to think, that he was destined for greatness.
Master Darkknight had accepted Nader, becoming a better father then Nader’s biological dad. Master Darkknight gave him knowledge, skills, potential. He was immensely grateful for that.
His comrades became his rivals, in a friendly fashion of course. They pushed each other to do better, to prove themselves to each other. They had helped each other become stronger and smarter.
Ender was remarkably intelligent, and Nader was humble to admit that Ender was on par, if not smarter, with Nader. Nader trusted Ender to make the right calls, to know what the best way to deal with a situation. He would gladly leave Ender in charge when Nader himself had other matters to attend.
Tchdwn was strong, much stronger then Nader, but he was ok with that. Muscles didn’t mean much in the world. All his strength only resulted in him becoming a playable fighter to do Nader’s biding. His attitude was unpleasant, clashing with Nader more then frequently, which greatly annoyed him to no end. In the end however, Nader would make himself superior to Tchdwn, to a point where Tchdwn would be forced to admit it.
Yes, he was destined for greatness indeed. And nothing was going to stop him from achieving that goal.
“As long as we keep a watchful eye on him, we can monitor and prevent any submissions to the dark side.” spoke Pi777. Nero and Corran gazed at each other.
“I guess you win again Pi777” said Nero.
“Indeed. Now. You two better get them and go. Nero and myself will welcome you home with more then enough provisions and much more.” said Pi777. They all nodded and Corran and Wrath departed.
“Let’s just hope they’ll be able to find their targets before the Sith do.” said Nero.
“I have confidence they will.”
Corran and Ender boarded Corran’s ship, a modified X-Wing. It was doubled in width but not mass, painted pure black with a Yellow light saber stretching across both sides. Corran took the cockpit seat while Ender took the passenger seat behind.
“All right buckle up. This your first take off?”
“Y-yeah.”
“Well, it’ll seem a little scary, but everything will be fine.”
“O-ok..”
“All right, here we go!”
The ship lifted up slowly and Corran pointed it up to the sky, and then suddenly the ship lurched forward, traveling at an extreme velocity, until they broke free of the atmosphere and entered space.
“Next stop, Ryyuiothor” announced Corran to a scared stiff Ender.
The ship broke out into the vacuum of space.
“That wasn’t so bad now was it” said Wrath.
“You kiddin’ me? I’ve had training exercises more terrifying then that.”
“Haha yeah, Darkknight always did teach in a unique and unusual way.”
“Did he teach you?”
“He taught all of us. He was the most brilliant man I have ever met. Now, onto Liutharium.”
“Sounds good to me.” said Tchdwn excitedly. His adventure had finally begun.
