Shiva... The Hindu Goddess of Death. Interesting that accross multiple languages it still is associated with death. Or cold too perhaps.
Welcome back though, and my condolense for you loss.

I'm going to Florence for three days and then I'm going to Sicile for 2 and then Venice for 3. In Israel I'm gonna go everywhere, but mainly tel aviv as most of my Tamil members live there. I go to Israel every summer

And Bora, shiva in Judaism comes from the word shiv'ah which means week, cuz sitting shiva takes a week.

When we were in Venice, we went to the big glass blowing factory, which was pretty cool, and this one worker showed us this really nice restaurant near the store. I mean it was really super good, best one i went to in Italy which is sayin a lot. There was also a really nice leather shop in Florence where I dropped some heavy cash on some sunglasses and wallet. No joke, Italy is sweet.

the only places i went in italy were pisa (nothing there except the tower, but the tower was really cool) cinque terre (the 5 villages on the water. it was really fun and there were some nice beaches there. didn't spend too much money though) rome (who doesn't love rome) and Naples/Sorento/Pompeii area (this was really nice other than the massive pickpocketers and gang people in naples. my grandfather got his wallet stolen and had $20,000 charged on it after only an hour and a half.) it was a fun trip. italy is pretty cool.

ah that sucks. luckily we knew a private tour guide and he was showing us around that area that day and he was pointing out all the pickpocketers for us and yellin at them in italian if they came up to us. He was a cool guy.
