Chapter 7: Fighting Fury
He stopped, and it seemed as his audience was satisfied. He knew they weren’t, so he told them of the fate of Teff and Ender. “All of you desire to know what happened to Teff and Ender. As I said, Ender went to fight Teff personally, as Teff did the same. The two met on a mountain peak far from the battle but could still have it in view. Ender left the {WRL} commanders and the newly freed Grand Masters Tchdwn and Snow to command the battle, and Teff left his general Red and apprentice Hotshot to lead his forces. Teff and Ender then fought a fight against each other for the last time as their forces fought each other. The two were equally matched as Teff had grown in power during Ender’s leave. The fight could even be seen from the battlefield because the two were so vastly powerful. Eventually, the two mortally wounded each other and could fight each other no more. But Teff didn’t want all to go to waste. He used a terrible power called Deadly Sight on Ender. His opponent died, as Teff became blind and started dieing quickly. Teff was dragged away from the battle by his guards, as more of his personal assassins went out to sabotage the newly reformed {Jedi}. They succeeded in kidnapping Tchdwn. He was never seen again, but Teff was. Teff led an army gathered by his right hand Red, and allied himself with the {Jedi}. They did not know this though; as his forces helped theirs keep peace in the galaxy. Through this, he gained allies to aid him in a time to where an armageddon was fought. He had disappeared after leaving Red in charge of their armies, and went to the Unknown Regions as Ender had, wanting to find what he found. It is unknown if he found what Ender found, whatever he had quested for. Teff did however start building more armies in the Unknown Regions. These were kept separated from the rest, and eventually all of his new empire was under one. He led them against the {Jedi}, =QRA=, and others. Both sides seemed to have lost, but the {Jedi} managed to survive. Teff and his forces were never seen again.”
Now everyone seemed satisfied. Tigress got up. “What do you plan on doing to your prisoners?” She asked the brown robes. “That is only my business, not for you to worry about. All you have to do is what you have been given to do. I will not answer anymore of your questions. You must leave now as you have found what you have came for. You know you have no other purpose to stay longer.” At this, Tigress seemed to agree, and left, but not before she had one last looked at the prisoners and the man. She sighed, and walked away until footsteps were no longer heard. The brown robe, now with a grim smile, walked towards DOOM, Allcaps, and Secretus, and their new accomplice Wrath. “I am still thinking on what I should do to you. No one has come to Rhen Var in a decent amount of decades. If I let you go, you might tell someone what you have seen. I can’t let that happen. Although I’d hate to annihilate seekers of knowledge, I must keep my master’s will safe.”
Before any of the four could reply, he shot lightning from his hands. He missed, and they saw why. Standing there with two red lightsabers, the Dark Lord herself was filled with fury and rage. They couldn’t find any reason why; as the two were suppose to be enemies. They, except Wrath, thought that the treaty was a cease-fire of some sort. “How dare you to attempt to violate the Treaty of Cohabitation by attacking those that are in my custody!” Tigress had shouted. The three were shocked. They all knew that they wouldn’t hesitate to not do the same for her. At least, they thought. The fight was on. They could sense the extreme hate in both fighters, but they especially felt the Force flow through the brown robed man. Tigress was the first to move, only to have a Force Repulse thrown at her. She did a fake. She then charged in, only to have lighting shot at her. No one anticipated it, as the recovery for using powers that powerful had to be at least a few seconds. It seemed to not even affect the brown robes. Suddenly, Wrath, DOOM, Allcaps, and Secretus were untied by the Force and all held lightsabers, with Wrath holding a sword. “All five of you can’t defeat me without consequence. I’d hate to eliminate one chosen by the Force, but I must obey its will as well. None shall destroy the Life!” He shot purple lightning at all five, and Tigress managed to block it. All five charged, at first attacking simultaneously, then taking turns. Tigress finally dismissed them and continued fighting as the others ran to their ships. “Thank you.” Was all Secretus could say. “You cannot hope to defeat me alone.” The Life said. “No, it is you who underestimate me. You should know not to.” Tigress said. She blasted him right through the stone wall and into the snow with a deadly Force Push.
Secretus, Allcaps, and DOOM all looked back at their savior fighting off their enemy. She seemed to be doing pretty well. They shivered at the amount of anger and hate that was sensed in the battle. They also wondered why a (Sith) would help them. Perhaps it was to serve her somehow, or there was something else to it. None of the three could understand. They had taken Wrath, the sniper who saved them first, with them. They all got into their ship, the Eagle, and went off into space. Indeed, they would need to tell their leaders what happened here. They would also never forget to mention every detail of the brown-robed man either.
Tigress sensed that the four she rescued were gone. She knew that if she had left them, someone would come looking for them. The man she fought, named the Life, might betray her, despite what he said. She also found evidence in her theory of his loyalty by attacking him. He defended himself, but he also seemed to strike back. What better way of doing her enemy harm than freeing his enemies from his prison. She put her lightsabers away. According to the fight so far, he was a Force-user. She guessed he would only use his silver-green bladed lightsaber as a defense against weapons that would bypass his guard, like many consulars. Tigress was angry. She could sense her opponent’s anger too. This should be one interesting, and explosive, fight. She shot read lightning from her body that flowed through her arms right toward the Life. He shot white lightning. They both had a Force-lock. Whoever turned it to their own advantage would gain the upper hand in the fight. Tigress knew that if she hesitated after she won the lock, she would not get another chance. She fought through the pain, used all anger, hate, and other emotions. She built up everything she had. At last, there was a big explosion that sent the two flying. She quickly jumped up, did Aerial Shock with what power she had left. Her opponent was now stunned. She didn’t stop. Using every last breath, she rushed at him with the Force, jabbing both lightsabers into his chest. She started to faint, and finally did.
MasterJedi, leader of the squad of bodyguards, led his men toward the explosion that they heard. They found their Queen fighting off a powerful Force-user. He was the man they saw earlier. They watched at how their Queen used every inch of power in her grasp, and strained herself into beating the man. She now lay unconscious, but still alive. He ordered a man to carry her back to the shuttle. It was an interesting fight alright. He didn’t even want to be involved. He never knew that Tigress was so capable of using the Force like that. He didn’t think anyone was. He had one last look at the brown-robed man. His armor was in pieces, his skin burned, and there were two wounds at his chest where the lightsabers were stabbed at. His cloak was also ripped apart from the intensity of the fight.
Chapter 8: Reconnaissance
Allcaps finally woke up as the ship’s alarms went off. They had arrived at Coruscant out of hyperspace. He looked over at Secretus and DOOM, who were both sleeping. He took off the auto-pilot and started taking the ship down for landing after he got clearance. He sent a message to Doom that they had returned and needed to speak with him immediately. As they landed, Doom could be seen waiting on the landing pad with guards at his flank. “I see you fell asleep in open books.” greeted Doom as he shook hands with the three. He looked up and saw Wrath. “Who is this, a professor or librarian of some sort?” Doom also shook hands with Wrath. The two seemed surprised. “I see you got acquainted with the locals. We’ll have more to talk about than I originally expected in my office. Come” All five went in the door into the office building.
Secretus and DOOM sat on one couch with Allcaps and Wrath on the other. Doom sat in his desk, hand folded together. Everyone told him what had happened at Rhen Var and what they had learned. “I see you’ve all had your share of excitement. Ironic you would find it in history knowing some of you.” He looked at DOOM and Allcaps while saying this. “Now, I think it’s time you meet an old friend and veteran of the Second {Jedi} Civil War. I would like to introduce you to Wrath.” Doom took a seat and let Wrath have the floor. He had blonde hair with blue eyes, and his voice was deep. His skin was almost as white as his sniper robes. He began to speak. “As you know, my name is Wrath. I fought in the war decades ago with Doom. I was part of a special unit that took down Force-users with ease. We would put ysalimari substances in our blaster chambers, making it impossible to be dodged and be capable of taking out a Force-user. They wouldn’t know what hit them. The two brown-robed figures you saw and met, they fought in the war also. They take on special training. They have overmastered skills of either control of the Force, weapon use, and other things. They are capable of destroying of entire armies as just a pair. I don’t know how many there are, but I’ve always left them alone at Rhen Var. They lived in the fortress while I lived in the city. When I saw your vessel land, I went to investigate. No one has come to Rhen Var since the war, and I knew that you would be given trouble by those guys. They were left behind like me, but I think it was on purpose as if they were protecting something. Anyways, I’m glad to meet all of you. Any friend of Doom is a friend of mine.” Wrath sat down, and Doom took it from there. “Anything else you guys need to know about the past?” DOOM raised his hand. “If you served in the war, why didn’t you tell us what happened so we didn’t almost get killed?” Doom smiled and jerked an eyebrow. “I wanted you guys to find out for yourselves. I didn’t think there’d be any killer hostiles at a long forgotten planet.” DOOM smiled and guessed he was right. Doom dismissed them, and all of them went to bed. Wrath was given a temporary room in a hotel that was free of charge under Doom’s orders. Doom also decided to go to bed. He had to get some rest to think about the Rhen Var incident. He only had one last appointment.
Corran entered Doom’s office. Doom had summoned him so that he may be briefed on a reconnaissance mission to Nar Shadda, a moon that had war refugees. This moon had been blockaded by the (Sith) right after they had their forces restored. No one knows why. Doom guessed it was slave labor, but he didn’t know why the (Sith) would go into that so soon. The refugees were being picked out and dragged off-world to some unknown location. Corran was to infiltrate enemy lines, confirm the kidnappings, and find out what was happening to the refugees. Corran took the mission, and bid Doom farewell. Headed toward the hangar and took off in a infiltration ship. He only wondered how easy this mission was going to be, and wondered if he would have any difficulties. He was sent on several spy missions during the previous war, and knew that this had to be serious stuff for Doom to commission him and bend the rules of the recent treaty. He could hardly wait to see Nar Shadda again too. He hoped this mission wouldn’t be a short one.
Tigress woke up in med bay. She sighed with relief that she was actually back in her ship and wasn’t dreaming the whole thing. A medical droid had her exit out of the bacta tank she was in. She put her clothes back on and headed toward the bridge. “Are you alright, my Queen?” Captain Apollo asked. MasterJedi was with him, and also had a face of concern. “I am fine. How long have I been out?” “About two days my Queen. You seemed to have strained you Force potential so much my Queen that it had effects on your body as well.” Tigress knew that this was true. Her armor had been surprisingly looking undamaged and new still, even though she had scratches on her body. She also noticed her tattoos being more visible. What had happened to her? She felt awakened, and she knew it wasn’t because of the submersion from the bacta tank. “Enough beauty rest. Have the ship at Nar Shadda. I have no wish of staying at this snowflake any longer. I need to check on our operations there anyways.”
Corran had arrived at the moon and began to take it down for landing. He didn’t have to receive clearance, as no radar could detect his ship. He landed on what looked like to be an abandoned landing pad. He put on normal clothes but had his wrist launchers, pistol, and lightsaber well hidden underneath. As he walked off the pad, he could sense the amount of life on the moon. Not as much as last time. He could sense more grief and strife, along with the presence of the Dark Side of the Force. Indeed, the (Sith) were numerous here and seemed to be hurrying their new slave production. He headed over to the nearest cantina where he found some drunk (Sith) soldiers. “This is going to be too easy.” Corran thought to himself as he headed towards the soldiers. He had a mischievous smirk on his face that he didn’t bother to hide. The soldiers were too drunk to notice, and everyone else didn’t seem to care.
On the far edge of the galaxy, a planet with numerous amounts of water held the presence of a long forgotten and ancient foe. “Too long has this galaxy been spared. Too long has it been consuming itself. Do not fret, for I will return to thee soon. I will establish true peace for millennia to come, and your children will live without casualties. I will save those who need it, and destroy those who rebuke it. I am the one who has mastered life, death, harvest, famine. I am chosen to be the One. My children have been chosen to support your goals and those of the Force. We will not fail, as it is our will to succeed. It has always been the way of success to the Force. None will stand in our path between us any longer. The Force has freed us.” The dark figure recited. A dark brown robed man approached. “Master, the Life has been destroyed by your Chosen. The Warrior had been too weak too late to help. What is your will?” The robe seemed to be trembling. The dark figure didn’t even flinch. In him there was nothingness. “The Warrior had been too weak to stop death. But he isn’t too weak to repulse it from himself. We are still in need of him. Send no more to Rhen Var or anywhere else. I do not want to reveal myself until that time has come. My apprentice has passed her first test. Do not worry about anything or any of your brothers. The Force shall free us, and all. The Life had sacrificed himself to preserve this destiny. Meditate on this, I ask you. Leave me to meditate also.” “As you wish, Master.”
